Salary: £35-40k + £10,000 Bonus + £400 Car Allowance
We’re on the lookout for a Business Development Manager with a proven track record in A2B/Next Day Courier sales or business development. This is a predominantly field-based role, with occasional travel to our Widnes office when required. You’ll be responsible for driving new business growth, identifying ideal customer profiles (ICPs), and executing a high-impact sales strategy through a mix of tele-sales and field sales.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Development – Proactively source and close new business opportunities within the courier/logistics sector.
Prospecting & Outreach – Research, identify, and engage potential clients using a mix of cold calling, networking, and face-to-face meetings.
Sales Execution – Conduct client visits, present tailored solutions, and negotiate contracts to achieve sales targets.
Account Management – Build long-term relationships with clients, ensuring excellent service and identifying upsell opportunities.
Market Insights – Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to refine sales strategies.
What We’re Looking For
Industry Experience – Proven background in A2B/Next Day Courier field sales or business development.

Self-Motivated & Resilient – Ability to work autonomously in a field-based role.
